Damian runs The Story Collective, a UK-based studio which develops and produces premium scripted content as well as backing and partnering with scripted executive producers and production companies. He co-founded the company with long-time friends and colleagues Simon Vaughan (ex-CEO of Lookout Point) and Helen Jackson (ex-Chief Content Officer of BBC Studios) in 2021.  

The Story Collective’s portfolio of investments includes Artis Pictures, Maia Pictures, Mighty Pebble Pictures and Cosmopolitan Pictures, as well as production hub run by Executive Producer Kate Lewis. Damian is currently executive producing the company’s first high end production A Thousand Blows (w/t), an epic 12-part series set in the world of illegal boxing in 1880s Victorian London for Disney+, created and written by Steven Knight, and starring Malachi Kirby, Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty. 

Damian was previously Managing Director at Lookout Point, where he drove a period of significant growth for the company, with several newly greenlit returnable drama series and a successful diversification into comedy. Prior to Lookout Point, Damian was Head of Drama at BBC Worldwide. He started his television career as a freelance producer with Flying Pictures and Pearson. Damian then founded and ran Skyworks, an independent production company making factual series for major UK and international broadcasters.
