Dave Martin

Plegazoid

Dave is a BAFTA and RTS award-winning Series Producer with experience in Factual, Entertainment and Children’s for all the major broadcasters. And some niche ones.

He started as a MGEITF trainee on several critically acclaimed BBC Storyville films, before two years on ‘Richard & Judy’ opened his eyes to the world of entertainment. Since then he’s amassed an incredibly eclectic CV, worked on shows like ‘The Secret History of Our Streets’, ‘Celebrity Antiques Road Trip’, ‘Operation Ouch', 'Let's Go For a Walk', ‘It Was Alright in the 70s’, ‘Fifteen to One’, ‘The Yorkshire Auction House’ and produced the launch show for the new BBC Scotland Channel.

Dave spends a lot of time working with Nigel Havers as the regular SP of ‘The Bidding Room’, but also recently brought new formats ‘The Vintage French Farmhouse’ and ‘The Repair Shop on the Road’ to BBC daytime, as well as achieving a degree of TV infamy for the Denise van Outen-fronted single ‘Air Fryers: Are They Worth It?’ for Channel 4.
