Diene is a double EMMY and BAFTA winning director and executive producer. 
 
She was a commissioning editor for the BBC, creative director at Darlow Smithson Productions and Global Creative Director of Non-Fiction at Pulse Films. 
 
She founded Drumroll Films in 2022. 
 
Recent projects include feature documentaries Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now (Netflix) which won the National Television Award 2023 and is nominated for a Grierson Best Doc Award; Name Me Lawand which won the Jury Prize at Hot Docs 2023, was released in cinemas in the UK and is also nominated for a Grierson in the Best Documentary category. In Cold Blood (2020) won an International Emmy and was nominated for Grierson, Royal Television Society and Amnesty International Awards.
