Krishnendu is a BAFTA-winning Film & TV producer. He co-runs Me+You Productions with Richard Yee. Currently they are making I AM HELEN (2x60’) for C4 by Dominic Savage starring Nicola Coughlan and Joe Cole. They produced ALICE & JACK by Vic Levin, a 6-part drama series for Channel 4/PBS Masterpiece starring Andrea Riseborough, Domhnall Gleeson, Aisling Bea and Aimee Lou Wood and I AM RUTH by Dominic Savage (Channel 4), starring Kate Winslet which won multiple awards including two BAFTA awards, two Royal Television Society Awards and a Broadcast award. The other six films in the I AM anthology starred Lesley Manville, Letitia Wright, Suranne Jones, Samantha Morton, Vicky McClure and Gemma Chan. The series has been acquired by HBO Max in the US. He recently produced the feature film CLOSE TO YOU starring Elliot Page which World Premiered in the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival 2023. Other credits include creating and producing the International EMMY-winning comedy HOFF THE RECORD starring David Hasselhoff, Brett Goldstein and Asim Chaudhry; co-creating the BAFTA-nominated global hit AN IDIOT ABROAD starring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington; executive producing two series of comedy drama SICK OF IT by Karl Pilkington and Richard Yee, two series of THE MOANING OF LIFE starring Karl Pilkington and a feature documentary END TO END (Amazon) starring George Ezra. He produced the Royal Television Society winning THE DALI AND THE COOPER for Sky directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard starring David Suchet and Noel Fielding. In June 2023, he finished his 3-year term as Chair of BAFTA. He has been selected five times by Variety in their V500 list as one of the influential business leaders shaping the global media industry.
