Lilla Hurst is a co-production and acquisition specialist with extensive experience in her field and an unparalleled contacts network across Europe, Australia and North America. In her role as Global Head of Acquisitions & Content Strategy at Blue Ant Studios, she is responsible with Ben Barrett for securing co-production finance for Blue Ant Studios, Love Nature and third-party produced content, in addition to overseeing acquisitions and partnerships across the distribution business.

Prior to Blue Ant Studios, Lilla co-founded UK-based Drive, acquired by Blue Ant Media in 2022. The business was a production funding house that launched in 2013 that quickly evolved into a 360 global funding, sales and distribution business. Lilla also owned and operated her own co-production agency, Lillavision, which helped indies to secure co-production and deficit finance.

Her previous leadership roles in the industry include Head of Co-Production for factual and scripted at Channel 5, Head of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at RDF International (now
Banijay), and Managing Director of TVF Distribution.
