Nick Smith, Executive Vice President, Formats and Licensing at All3Media International has over twenty years’ experience of working with television formats. He has experience developing, producing and licensing formats.  

He’s previously worked for the BBC, Sony Pictures Television International, and a number of independent production companies. He looks after All3media’s international format productions, including hits such as The Traitors, Gogglebox, Kitchen Nightmares and Cash Cab, along with format acquisition, strategy and offscreen licensing including Race Across The World: The Experience and The Traitors Live. He is the Visiting Professor of TV Formats at Sunderland University, Co-chair of the Format Recognition and Protection Association (FRAPA), created the Diversify TV Excellence Awards, and is a founder member of RX Global’s diversity advisory board.
