Paul Evans

Head of Unscripted Television Development, MGM Television

Paul is an industry veteran in development and production, with a career spanning nearly two decades. He is a founding member of MGM Television UK, where he is currently Head of Development, responsible for creating and selling unscripted formats to the UK and globally across Factual, Factual Entertainment, and Entertainment genres. 

His credits include blockbuster shows, such as I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island, and Big Brother; as well as critically acclaimed productions, including Channel 4’s ‘coming of age’ documentary, Home Free. 

Paul cut his teeth at The Big Breakfast, had a brief spell in Panama working on Survivor, then back to the UK to hold several senior development roles at high-profile production companies, including the BBC, ITV, Studio Lambert, Wall to Wall and Primal Media.  

At ITV Paul established the organisation’s first intern scheme, helping underrepresented youth break into the industry. 

He lives in Broadstairs with his partner and their dog, Winnie the Whippet.
