Stephen McQuillan is Atomic Television’s Creative Director. His background in television is based firmly in documentary, having previously worked for the BBC on shows such as Panorama and various films produced by the BBC Documentary Unit. He has subsequently gone on to become the creative director and key creative in three different companies including Icon Films where he created and Executive Produced multiple series for the likes of National Geographic and Discovery and Humble Bee Films, producers of series such as Life in Colour with David Attenborough.  Stephen founded Atomic Television in January 2023, acting as Creative Director and Executive Producer on productions including Defending Europe (Nat Geo), The Square Route with Hannah Fry and The Day Diana Died (C5).
